31 Year Old Man Bribes Policemen With Prostitutes

Instead of feeling remorseful over his disorderly conduct towards two police officers, a 31-year-old man decided to try to rid himself of his criminal charges, with more crime.
Last Friday (July 10) morning, the man started causing trouble when he refused to alight from a taxi at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
When Staff Sergeant Noor Ramdan and Sergeant Mohammad Nazri from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division responded to the case, they found the man, who appeared to be drunk, sleeping inside the taxi.
The police officers woke the man but he suddenly turned aggressive on them.
The rowdy man insulted the police officers with obscene hand gestures and didn't stop his disorderly conduct even after repeated warnings from the officers.
As a result, the man was placed under arrest.
But the drama didn't end there.
In the police car, on the way back to the police station, the man tried to bribe the officers by offering to introduce "paid sexual services" to them, according to a police statement.
On top of that, the man tried to sweeten the deal with $50 thrown in for the police officers to release him.
So after the officers rejected the bribe, they proceeded to arrest the man for the second time.
The man was charged in court today (July 13) with two offences — Disorderly Behaviour and Using Indecent Behaviour Towards Public Servants
If found guilty, he may be fined up to $5,000 or jailed up to a year.
The man's attempt at bribing the police offers has been referred to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) for further investigation.
