The recent spate of cat deaths at Pasir Ris Park has raised the alarm among cat lovers, animal welfare groups and the authorities.
Nine cats have been confirmed dead, one is still missing and another has severe liver damage.
On February 2015, five cats were found dead of unnatural causes in RedHill in the spam of 2 months. Cat named TongTong was seen alive earlier that day before it turned up dead with blood pooling near it's mouth.
On September 2014, a cat was found lying in the loading bay of Jurong West HDB block. Passer-by reported it had been thrown from the fourth storey.
On January 2013, a cat was flung to it's death in Marsling Road. The incident occurred less than a month after two kittens were found dismembered in an HDB common corridor in Chong Pang.
